Millions of children around the world aren’t in school, or they’re in school but not learning well. For us, that’s a problem. We call this the global education crisis. Edify is helping to solve the education crisis by providing resources to independent schools. When schools have the tools they need, they can improve the level of education they offer while fostering the best possible learning environment for students. And by integrating a biblical worldview into the school curriculum, learning can transform the minds and spirits of children who grow up to be the world’s next thinkers, innovators, and leaders. Education needs to be accessible, affordable, and high-quality so students, families, and nations can flourish. Join us on our mission to improve and expand sustainable Christ-centered education globally.

On a mission to improve and expand sustainable Christ-centered education globally
关于我们
Edify believes that educating underserved children is the greatest opportunity for Christian transformation in impoverished communities around the world. A young person with book smarts and life skills can create a small business or find employment that will lift his or her family out of poverty; a young person grounded in the Christian faith will develop the moral foundation necessary to transform a culture and society. With a dedication to serving the poor, Edify proposes to increase access to Christ-centered education and improve the quality and relevancy of what’s taught in Christian schools.

As we anticipate Thanksgiving in the United States this week, we are not only thankful for the blessings God has provided for us but also for the chance we have to share these blessings with others. As we gather with family, friends, neighbors, and more, may we deeply encounter God's peace and love by the extension of generosity this Thanksgiving.

"Before I was disrespectful to my parents and teachers. However, having fellowships in our school transformed me. I came to know Godly values which I need to have as a child of God and now I am a new creation in God. I love to pray and I have also learned to encourage my fellows to be exemplary in community." - Student in Rwanda

Edify partners with over thirty thousand schools around the world, empowering them to build sustainable operations, teach more students, and continue to create significant changes in their communities. But how do we keep track of each school’s well-being and expansion?? Across our countries of operation, a unique tool called the School Self-Assessment (SSA) is helping school leaders evaluate and improve their schools’ operations and overall growth. By identifying strengths and areas for growth, the SSA enables school proprietors to make intentional improvements that positively impact students and, in turn, their communities. Annett Mbabazi, Christ-Centered Education Officer Program Lead in Uganda, shares the beginnings of the program’s roll-out in her nation, “After each training, I would share about the self-assessment tool, what it is, and how it’s done, its benefits for the school and Edify, and how it informs us of the state of each of our partner schools.”? The SSA is a comprehensive survey designed for school leaders to hold up a mirror, grade themselves on categories, and make thoughtful changes to improve operations. Once a school proprietor discovers opportunities for growth, they partner with a local staff member to draft a comprehensive follow-up plan, creating significant steps that incorporate Edify’s three main tools: training, loan capital, and education technology, as well as other factors such as classroom environment, Christ-like behavior, and exposure to the Word of God. The SSA tool is not only a measure of growth for Edify's partner schools, but a collaborative journey. Christ-Centered Education Officers (CCEOs) play a key role in this process, following up with schools, guiding them through self-assessment outcomes, and crafting customized improvement plans. Walking alongside school leaders, they ensure true partnership and support in each school’s unique path toward educational and spiritual excellence, fostering a culture of intentional and lasting change. At Edify, we believe community is more than learning from one another; it's walking with one another in fellowship, sharing our shortcomings and wins with each other so that we all can learn and grow on the path God has for us. We're so grateful to partner with amazing, God-fearing men and women who embrace this opportunity for fellowship and growth. How has community changed your vocation? ?? Share in the comments! ???? Rwanda *Edify has three categories of partner schools: Client, Core, and Champion. Client schools are those schools actively connected to Edify. Core schools are a subset of Client schools that commit to three years of deeper and more intentional partnership and growth with Edify. Champion schools were Core schools that exceeded goal targets in several areas and take on a mentorship role with other schools.
