Edifecs is a leading healthcare technology company with the mission to improve healthcare outcomes, reduce costs and accelerate innovation. In a world that includes hundreds of millions of consumers and millions of care delivery sites and people, we deliver a single point solution to connect to all information exchange partners and to ingest, correlate and optimize digital health data. We are disruptors, scientists, data nerds, doctors and artists. And we believe information technology can revolutionize healthcare. Our Story Early in his career, Sunny Singh realized that there had to be a better, more accurate way to track and process information. He understood the need for data processing technology that would save vast man-hours, money and paperwork. In 1996, he drew $200,000 on his savings and credit cards and, working from a small room in his condo in Issaquah, developed and launched Edifecs’ First product – SpecBuilder. When HIPAA was introduced, the code was reworked to include its specifications and demand for SpecBuilder soared. Today, Edifecs is one of the fastest growing companies in healthcare IT. We are a profitable, debt-free multinational company with over 350 customers serving more than 215 million lives. Our Values Our corporate credo is passion, innovation, integrity, wisdom, collaboration and respect. These beliefs have helped us create a vibrant company culture where innovation and creativity flourish and careers thrive. Our commitment to these values distinguishes us from the competition. This Women’s History Month, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible women who make Edifecs a great place to work. Throughout March, we’ll be sharing their stories, motivations, and insights as part of our #WomenOfEdifecs series. Our series continues with Stevie Watson, MBA, Marketing Programs Manager. ?Share the best advice you’ve ever received: Focus on what you can control. Don’t waste energy on things outside your influence—channel it into actions that make a difference. This year, I’ve really embraced the let them theory. It’s not always easy, but it helps me step back when I start getting worked up over something beyond my control. ?Edifecs is a demanding company. How do you create work/life harmony? How do you decompress after work? I love both working and living life, and I strive for harmony between the two—whether that means turning off notifications after hours or fully disconnecting from emails while I travel the world. It can be challenging to balance true rest with the temptation to use quiet moments to plan and ideate on work things. But I’ve learned that stepping away makes me better when I step back in. From 2022–2024, I challenged myself to complete my MBA, which forced me to unplug and focus on life goals beyond work. Now, I try to be intentional about shutting down after hours. Being 100% remote makes that tricky, but sometimes, when Teams is dinging, I remind myself this can wait until tomorrow. I prioritize getting outside, making midweek plans, and traveling—I’m serious about my PTO, and I aim to visit three countries a year! Trip planning and traveling help me fully step away and recharge. ?Do you have female mentors or role models? Absolutely—Billie, my first boss in marketing, played a huge role in shaping my career. She took a risk on me as a sophomore undergrad, giving me real responsibility and trust in my day-to-day work, which helped me grow into a confident marketer and push past imposter syndrome early on. She wasn’t just a leader to her team—she was a respected force beyond it. She’s hardworking, hilarious, and effortlessly balances strength with kindness. I can’t thank her enough for the inspiration and foundation she gave me in my early career. ??Join us in honoring the #womenofedifecs achievements, resilience, and contributions to the workplace and beyond. Stay tuned for inspiring profiles all month long! ? #NationalWomensMonth #WomenInTech

This Women’s History Month, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible women who make Edifecs a great place to work. Throughout March, we’ll be sharing their stories, motivations, and insights as part of our #WomenOfEdifecs series. Our series begins with the wonderful Shaveta Thukral, Operations Manager. ?Why are you passionate about Edifecs? What motivates you every day? I find great motivation in my role within the ops department at Edifecs. The nature of my work involves extensive interaction with colleagues across various departments. This dynamic environment provides me with invaluable opportunities to learn and grow every day. The ability to engage with diverse teams, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects not only enhances my professional skills but also fosters a sense of camaraderie within the workplace. It's this rich tapestry of interactions and the constant learning that motivates me to come to the office with enthusiasm and drive. ? Edifecs is a demanding company. How do you create work/life harmony? How do you decompress after work? Maintaining work-life balance is a priority, especially as a parent. While I dedicate myself fully during work hours, I make a conscious effort to disconnect and focus on my family in the evenings and on weekends. Whether it’s helping with homework, sharing meaningful conversations, or creating lasting memories, I cherish this time. While work is an important part of my identity, I manage my workload effectively to ensure only critical tasks extend beyond office hours. By demonstrating balance and self-care, I hope to instill in my daughter the value of prioritizing both personal and professional life. ?What's one thing that few of your co-workers know about you? Few people know that I have a degree in psychology, which helps me read people beyond just words. It allows me to understand emotions, intentions, and unspoken feelings, making it easier to connect with others on a deeper level. Oh, and let's not forget about my secret superpower: I can rock high heels like nobody's business, even for a marathon 12-hour day. Who says women can't conquer the world in style? ?Anything else you’d like to include? As part of #WomenOfEdifecs, I'm inspired by the strength and resilience of my female colleagues. Let's continue championing gender equality and creating opportunities for women in technology. Together, we can empower each other to achieve greatness. Here's to breaking barriers and fostering inclusivity at Edifecs and beyond! ??Join us in honoring the #womenofedifecs achievements, resilience, and contributions to the workplace and beyond.
