The #EDGEBuildings team is pleased to announce that the Jhansi Library by BOOTES has achieved the #EDGEAdvanced Preliminary Certification after a record-breaking 90-day construction period. ???? This 12,000 square foot project, commissioned by the Jhansi Development Authority (JDA) with support from Jhansi Smart City Ltd, demonstrates that rapid and sustainable construction is possible. ????? Watch the video- https://ow.ly/1ab050VbfHI Constructed by Bootes Impex Tech Ltd. an India-based "Net-Zero" developer, the Jhansi Library achieved a 29% reduction in water usage through rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems, and a 34% reduction in the embodied carbon footprint of materials by sourcing locally. ????? Deepak Rai, Managing Director of BOOTES, stated, "Receiving the EDGE certification helps developers reduce costs and gain a competitive advantage while aligning with broader environmental and social objectives critical for India's future." ????
