?????? last Friday we hosted another fantastic Open Source Friday at the Open Source Campus! This week’s theme was The Rise of Agent ?? where we collaborated, built, and explored how autonomous agents are reshaping the digital landscape. ?? Shoutout to Arize AI and John Gilhuly for sponsoring this event and kicking off the Phoenix Community Challenge Month! They recently completed a 6-week bootcamp on building AI agents and now invite everyone to put that knowledge to the test. Prizes and free swag await! ?? We also heard about the groundbreaking social media project @tee_hee_he from Andrew Miller ( Flashbots and Nous Research), aiming to create the first fully autonomous AI agent with provable digital independence ?? The journey to agent autonomy is here! ??

My goal is simple: create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, inspired, and empowered to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded builders. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, my developer events are designed to bring people together, spark creativity, and drive innovation. I'm thankful we embody these same values at Weaviate to make developer experiences like this a reality. ???? The best developer events are the ones where there are hands on keyboards, developers learning to use our products, and pushing the boundaries of innovative ideas. Hack Days and Hack Nights are opportunities to build that idea you had one day, try out sophisticated RAG techniques, improve chunking strategies, get access to a plethora of data through our developer partnership ecosystem or just practice your shipping muscle ??
