We are thrilled to announce that Edge Fearless Learning has teamed up with The Dyslexia Alliance for Black Children (DABC) to offer various workshops to staff, sites, parents, and caregivers in the coming months! Here is what you can expect from the first workshop: “The?Summer Literacy Club?workshop will be held on?Thursday, May 23, 2024?at?6:00 PM. That workshop will provide families with ways to facilitate literacy learning throughout the summer. We’ll show them fun and engaging literacy activities including, how to incorporate read alouds, encourage reading comprehension through daily conversation, and practice letters and their sounds. ” This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to gain some new skills to place in your toolbox.?If you cannot attend live, register anyway and you will be sent the recording to watch at your convenience. We were honored to participate in and sponsor the Compassion in Community Cross-Disciplinary Panel at the recent #HumanitiesAtWork 2024 University of Pittsburgh Conference. Our very own, Theresa Kowcheck and Kevin Berrios, were presented with the Outstanding Industry Partner Award for their invaluable support and involvement with the Linguistics Internship Program.
