FOUNDERS - BUILD IN PUBLIC. My team built Vently in front of everyone in SF and it shaped our GTM. Here's why It'll be the best thing you could do as a startup founder - - You're in front of everyone that matters. Investors, customers, partners, Vc's, founders, and more. Everyone is just as excited as you are about a conversation, collaboration, and more. GO HAVE THAT CONVERSATION. - This might be one of the coolest places to be a startup founder. SF is packed with events, parties, pitch comps and more, go to every single one. Become a familiar face in the industry you want to be in. - You'll build a team of superstars. Pitching your idea in any large ecosystem innately has others looking to jump on, collaborate and work alongside you. In a place like SF/ NY/ LA this should never be a problem. -You'll fail publicly, you'll win publicly, either one can't hurt. People will see the wins and open their networks for collaboration, people likely wont see the failures, get over it and move forward.
