We are very pleased to announce the launch of our #partnership with Edesia Nutrition, a US-based non-profit, social enterprise which is on a mission to end #malnutrition. Edeisa Nutrition has recently and generously donated specialized foods to GOAL and this donation is now in a 40-foot container en route from New Jersey, USA to #Chad. With this donation and in collaboration with ALIMA and Alerte Santé, we are aiming to prevent and treat Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) in Zabout and Kerfi Refugee Camps in Chad, aiding 1,800 children aged six-23 months and 460+ Pregnant and Lactating Women. Chad, which is currently host to over 900,000 refugees and returnees, who have fled 'Sudan due to the relentless civil war which started in April 2023, faces ever increasing and emergency related humanitarian needs which require urgent funding.
