Before February closes out, we'd like to bring attention to coronary heart disease (CHD). CHD is a condition where coronary arteries narrow due to plaque buildup, which in turn reduces blood flow to the heart. Older adults, who make up the majority of #homecare patients, are more susceptible to CHD. Know the symptoms of #CHD such as chest pain, fatigue, shortness of breath, or reduced functional ability so you can communicate them to your caregiver. #americanheartmonth
