Eden II Programs is dedicated to enabling the children and adults with autism that it serves in New York City and Long Island to achieve the highest quality of life throughout their lives in school, in the community, at work and at home. Eden II School was founded in 1976 on Staten Island with six children and one special education teacher, and over the past 25 years, Eden II’s highly successful model has lead to the expansion and development of a number of programs and services for individuals with autism.

Eden II DSP Academy -Training to jobs- underway Our partnership with multiple partners- non-profits- Autism providers, has launched a six week training program to train and hire DSP for multiple employers. This program uses private funding, in kind contributions to recruit, train and employ those looking for a career step in serving the Autism community. From an idea, to launch, 2/3 of the way in and our Academy students are doing well. This is the beginning of a new way to recruit and train desperately needed front line staff.
