The City of Oakland’s Human Services Department and the Mayor’s Commission on Aging are developing the Aging Well in Oakland: A 5-Year Strategic Action Plan—and they want to hear from you. Building on Oakland’s 2018 designation as a World Health Organization Age-Friendly Community, this plan will guide how the City supports older adults in feeling safe, connected, and empowered as they age.
