#EdenHall was delighted to host the Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania Administrator’s Learning Network Group this past Wednesday! These luncheons allow us to forge new connections and strengthen existing ones, elevating our professional growth and benefiting the community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us last Wednesday for the Administrator's Network Group hosted by the Eden Hall Foundation! Thank you especially to Lauren and Daynell for hosting us in such a beautiful space and to Stephanie Sweat, our learning network co-chair for helping to coordinate today's lunch. This event offered excellent networking opportunities for members to reconnect, share experiences, and discuss exciting new directions for the group. Special thanks to co-chairs Stephanie Sweat (McElhattan Foundation) and Damion Wilson (POISE Foundation) for leading the conversation on how we can continue to support each other’s professional growth. Happy National Philanthropy Month! This November and always, we celebrate philanthropy — the act of giving to improve others’ lives. To kick off this month, #EdenHall highlights a groundbreaking philanthropic collaboration involving public and private partnerships here in Pittsburgh. A total of $600 million will be purposefully allocated to transform and revitalize Downtown Pittsburgh and make it a place for every resident and visitor to thrive. This epic partnership involves thousands of individuals, demonstrating how anyone and everyone can be a philanthropist. This month, consider becoming a philanthropist by supporting a cause. Whether you volunteer your time at an organization or round up to support a cause at a local store, see yourself as a philanthropist.
