March is #NationalNutritionMonth! This month, we’re focusing on the theme: Fueling Your Tank. As professionals supporting individuals in eating disorder recovery, we know that nutrition is about more than just food, it’s about helping clients honor their body’s unique needs, rebuild trust with food, and find peace in nourishment. Food is not only fuel; it’s also deeply cultural, a way to connect with others, and a source of joy and tradition. This month, let’s reinforce the message that all foods fit and encourage balanced, mindful eating as a tool for healing. Recovery is about progress, not perfection, and every step toward embracing nourishment is a victory. Together, we can empower our clients to celebrate their journey, challenge food rules, and rediscover the joy of eating without guilt or shame. #EDRecovery #AllFoodsFit #MindfulEating #RecoveryIsPossible #DitchDietCulture #EDCare

This week, Athlete EDGE at EDCare attended the first annual Coalition of Athletic Communities for Mental Health Conference at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus! This event was a fantastic opportunity to bring together individuals and organizations who are passionate about the intersection of athletics and mental health. We've enjoyed learning from experts and connecting with others who are committed to identifying shared best practices and developing partnerships to create real solutions. From discussions around injuries, self-worth, and performance pressure to tackling the complexities of mental toughness and traumatic brain injuries, it’s been a powerful experience to explore how we can all work together to better support athletes’ mental health.
