What does it mean to adopt trauma-informed approaches in international development? In South Africa, EDC is partnering with the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation and the Centre for Mental Wellness and Leadership through the USAID Inclusive Development and Equitable Assistance (IDEA) activity. This partnership will develop a Community of Practice and deliver trauma-informed capacity strengthening for implementing partners in South Africa, where trauma is a prevalent public health concern. Learn more about these trauma-informed approaches from one of our partners at the Centre for Mental Wellness and Leadership, in this discussion on today's Day of Reconciliation in South Africa: https://lnkd.in/gEY_TdtW
