We are proud to feature the Gattuso Life Sciences Building for this week's #FieldFriday! Our skilled carpentry team is installing an air vapor barrier and ACM exterior paneling, along with insulated black wall panels and the necessary sealants! This project reflects our commitment to precision, durability, and excellence across every phase of the exterior building envelope. Great work by the entire EDA crew!

During National Volunteer Week, we’re proud to highlight our ongoing partnership with Heroic Gardens. This past weekend, EDA employee volunteers joined Heroic Gardens on-site to help build a shed at the U-Pick Sunflower Field opening this summer in Northeast Philadelphia. This veteran-led initiative is part of a broader effort to connect communities through horticulture, healing, and workforce development. Great work by all volunteers! We can’t wait to see the field open this summer!

You can watch and learn during animal exams and procedures — the only current United States zoo where visitors can view treatments from the welcome center. EDA Contractors recently joined PHL17 for a visit with our nonprofit partner, Heroic Gardens, to highlight the impact of our ongoing collaboration. Together, we’re working to support veterans through therapeutic horticulture, from hands-on volunteering to funding initiatives that create healing, growth, and opportunity. This visit couldn’t have come at a better time, as we celebrate both Earth Day and National Volunteer Week, two reminders of the power of community and the importance of giving back to people and the planet. Thank you PHL17  for hosting us and taking time to discuss our amazing non-profit partner!

As EDA’s Social Media Coordinator, I am in charge of managing EDA’s social channels, finding new and innovative ways to feature the incredible work our team does every day. It’s important to me that EDA’s online presence reflects the values of hard work, collaboration and growth. As a communicator, honesty and transparency are tantamount for me, whether it’s at work or in my personal life. When I’m not behind a screen planning posts, you’ll probably find me in the stands at a Philadelphia Union game, repping the Sons of Ben and cheering loud. Ed DeAngelis recently joined the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) for their Coffee Chat Q & A, sharing how construction changed his life and why it continues to be an industry full of opportunity for those willing to bring their best. Hard work, vision, and the drive to grow as a person, regardless of where you start, will be rewarded in any industry. #FieldFriday is here once again and today we pay a visit to Drexel University's Stiles Hall! Located in the heart of Center City, EDA Glaziers are in the process of installing glass doors and windows to the entryway while a roofing crew installs a TPO system and metal coping to the exterior. Great work from our roofers and glaziers on site!
