We’re so proud of Melinda Mondelus and Claudy, two of our exceptional Viner Scholars, who recently traveled to Washington, DC with the Student Experience Department at FIU. ??? During their trip, they had the incredible opportunity to meet and engage with members of Congress, lobbyists, and local government officials. ????? They tackled vital discussions on population health and the role of emerging technologies in shaping public policy. ???? Their experience highlights the power of student advocacy and the importance of preparing future leaders to drive meaningful change. ???? Way to go, Melinda and Claudy—keep inspiring us all! ????

Congratulations to Amy, who has been selected as a Research Assistant for the UCF Conscious Audition and Scene Analysis Lab as part of the Communication Technology Research team! ?? She will be the only undergraduate working on the Sine Wave Speech for Bilingual Speakers project, where she’ll gain hands-on experience conducting otoscopies, pure tone assessments, and tympanometry. ???? We are so proud of Amy’s dedication and can’t wait to see her impact in the field of auditory research! ????
