We couldn’t agree more.
I am always glad to meet badass women leaders in education, but when it's desi women?? My excitement goes through the roof! There are more of us than you'd think and fewer than I'd like ?? That's why I was delighted that last Friday, I met with two of them in two separate conversations - Leona Christy and Vriti Saraf. Both are #entrepreneurs and founders of education organizations - CatalystED and Ed3DAO respectively. Both of them are problem solvers who see opportunities where others see challenges. Both have built niche and unique communities of other problem-solvers working to serve public education. Leona and I have a shared love of Mumbai, and Vriti and I have a shared love of New York. I could have easily spent hours talking to them. I couldn't have asked for a better start to this week of gratitude and reflection than ending my last one in dialogue with these two amazing, smart #desi women #edleaders.
