Mission Lead a collaborative movement across statewide departments of education and public instruction focused on driving impactful design of education state digital ecosystems through facilitating state collaboration around interoperable tools. By leveraging interoperable data standards with common data strategies and software tools, we aim to further operationalize, expand and maintain replicable models for state data systems that transcend traditional usage boundaries, fostering improved student outcomes and operational efficiency for education agencies, and thereby enabling a stronger economic future for our member states. Vision - Create standards-enhanced data modernization efforts that harness the power of interoperability. - Create high-impact statewide data ecosystems that: - Enhance operational efficiency for state and local education agencies - Facilitate improved outcomes for every student - Demonstrate that modern technical solutions and a commitment to common data standards and software can both lower costs and enhance the long-term impact of public education. - Lay the foundation for scalable solutions that can be shared from state to state. - Shape the future of K-12 education, making it more responsive, adaptable, and student-focused. - Forge a path towards excellence and innovation in education for the benefit of every learner, earner, and citizen in our communities, and ultimately, the United States.
