In February, Hunt, ECSI, and Paul's Electric came together for the 22nd annual A Chair Affair Gala. Presented by Mayo Clinic and widely regarded as the city's most prestigious black-tie social event, A Chair Affair has raised millions of dollars for Rochester youth in need. We are honored to have had the chance to attend and give back to the Rochester community! Last week, ECSI's John Tauer escaped the frigid winter cold and headed to Arizona! His ECSI cap was there too...taking in warm sun, dry desert air, some golf, and the rodeo! 2025 is a big year here at Hunt, where we're celebrating 60 years of service in the Midwest. Meanwhile, the Tuscon Rodeo, called La Fiesta de los Vaqueros, is having a big birthday this year too! During a site visit at Century College last week, ESCI staff paused to talk shop in the library. Using our inside voices, of course! ECSI has been hired to do a campus-wide fire alarm replacement at Century College in White Bear Lake. Comprised of multiple buildings with multiple floors – including a building set across the street - the fire alarm systems are all connected. But we love challenges here at ECSI! Members of our team have already done preliminary budgets, design, and procurement, and are busy working through implementation strategies. Site visits are tantamount to understanding the intricacies that accompany every project. Seeing the space not only gets our brains brewing, but it also familiarizes us with how each client’s day to day operations look, and excitement for us. During the project, school will remain in session. Working on active campuses is second nature to us. Our goal? Completing our work with minimal or no disruption to ongoing campus activities, and maintaining the safety of faculty, students, visitors, and our crews.
