We’re excited to announce that an all female Team Europe will be competing in the Kunoichi Cyber Game on November 14-15, 2024 in Tokyo! This prestigious event is dedicated to showcasing and empowering women in cybersecurity, celebrating their skills in an industry where diversity and inclusion are essential. ?? About the Kunoichi Cyber Game: *?Named after “Kunoichi,” or female ninja, this international competition highlights the role of women in cybersecurity, encouraging growth and collaboration within a traditionally male-dominated field. *?The event also aligns with shared objectives to bridge cybersecurity skill gaps and promote global cooperation, which are at the core of the EU-Japan Digital Partnership. * Teams from Japan, the UK, the U.S. and Europe compete in this capture-the-flag event. ?? Three weeks ago, I was in Torino for the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2024, this time as part of the organizing team! It was an incredible experience to be on the other side, helping make this event happen after competing myself back in 2021. It felt great to give back to a community that’s meant so much to me! Seeing old friends, making new ones, and being surrounded by passionate people—it's honestly one of my favorite parts of the hacker world! ?? Huge thanks to the Cybersecurity National Lab for inviting me as a challenge author. We (okay, mainly Gaspare Ferraro, Matteo, and Giulia Martino!) pulled together a fantastic event. ?? Reflecting on competing at the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2024. It was an honor to be part of the Austrian national team, alongside awesome people. Being surrounded by Europe’s brightest minds in cybersecurity was truly inspirational.
