?? Great news! Atlantica has been included for the fourth consecutive year in the S&P Global Sustainable Yearbook for its sustainable business practices. S&P Global Sustainable1 conducts an annual evaluation to identify the world's most sustainable companies, focusing on public data related to environmental, social, and governance issues. To qualify for inclusion in the Sustainability Yearbook, a company must rank among the top 15 percent in its industry. In 2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) was conducted across 62 industries, reviewing the performance of more than 7,000 companies. Out of these, only 780 companies made it to this year’s Yearbook. The scores from this assessment are also used to determine the composition of the Dow Jones Sustainability index (DJSI or Dow Jones Best-in-Class indices) one of the most prestigious sustainability indices globally, which includes the largest 2,500 companies with better performance. We are thrilled to announce that ECP is joining forces with ADQ in an exciting partnership aimed at addressing the significant need for electricity resources to maintain reliability measures as well as to meet accelerating demand growth to power data centers, AI hyperscalers and other energy-intensive industries across the US and select global markets. The focus of this partnership will largely be on developing and building new natural gas fired power generation with aspirations of investing over the next several years up to $25bn across debt and equity needs, funded by the partnership and other investors as needed. ? “We are honored to build an investing partnership with ADQ to provide the electricity resources demanded by the rapidly growing AI data center sector where the build out of new power generation resources or ‘additionality’ in the US will require significant, patient capital with a long-term horizon,” said Douglas Kimmelman, ECP Founder and Executive Chairman. ? The shared vision of ECP and ADQ reflects our strategy to invest in critical energy transition infrastructure, while working to position us to effectively meet the growing demand for reliable power generation capacity in an evolving energy landscape. ? At Infrastructure Investor's Digital Infrastructure Forum this week, our own Matt Himler moderated a compelling panel discussion on the evolving energy equation for data centers. With the rapid expansion of AI, finding innovative and sustainable power solutions is more critical than ever. Thanks to the expert panelists Melissa Grant, Henrik Hansen, Phoebe Smith, Stefan Wala, and Bill Green for sharing insights on how the industry is working to balance sustainability goals with the demand for power. #IIGlobalSummit?

In January, ECP announced the sale of Calpine to Constellation, creating one of America’s leading producers of clean and reliable energy to meet growing demand for customers and communities. The transaction reflects years of focus on unlocking value and driving growth opportunities for the business. Tyler Reeder, President and Managing Partner at ECP, spoke with Bloomberg on Bloomberg Open Interest about the deal, highlighting Calpine's remarkable journey under ECP's ownership. He also touched on how the economy is undergoing a rapid energy transition: electricity demand growth in the face of supply retirements is creating a significant opportunity set in power; a diversified set of demand drivers (relative to flat historic demand) establishes a resilient outlook. ? Exciting expansion of the partnership! This collaboration is a great step forward in scaling up renewable energy.
We’re expanding our partnership with ECP (Energy Capital Partners) ?? The leading energy transition-focused investor will purchase a 50 % equity stake in three of our newly built solar farms in the US: Mockingbird and Sparta Solar in Texas and Eleven Mile Solar Center in Arizona. Another milestone in our farm-down programme that allows us to reinvest capital in new projects to meet the world’s need for energy with renewable solutions ?? The agreement builds on our existing partnership with ECP, who invested in three wind farms and one solar farm in 2022 as part of our first-ever farm-down in the US onshore market.
