Every morning, I strive to enhance my knowledge about something new that I didn't know. Today's read was on GenZ’s and sustainability. A recent survey revealing Gen Z's leadership in sustainability.
I've been digging into some really interesting research lately about how different generations approach sustainability in order to serve and sharpen my innovation skills. It's got me thinking a lot about how we can all do our part to also bring awareness to environmental issues. As someone who's always striving to be more eco-friendly in my personal life and with Fitted, I want to share what I learned this am.
- Gen Z Leading the Charge
It's inspiring to see the younger generation taking such a strong stance on sustainability. They're really setting the bar high for all of us.
- Values Driving Our Purchases
I was amazed to learn that across Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z, over 75% of us are making buying decisions based on our personal, social, or environmental values. That's huge!
- Interesting Gender Split
Surprisingly, it seems men (77%) are slightly more likely than women (67%) to make values-driven purchases. I wonder what's driving this difference?
- What Sustainability Means to Us
It's fascinating that for about half of Boomers, Gen X, and Millennials, sustainability is all about "products made from recycled, sustainable, and naturally harvested materials." This aligns perfectly with what we're trying to achieve at Fitted.
These insights are gold for businesses like ours that are striving to align with consumer values and contribute to a sustainable future.
