Wij worden gefinancierd door de Europese Unie! ?? Om onze ambitie te realiseren, hebben we financiering ontvangen voor de verdere ontwikkeling van de Eco Tire. We zijn trots dat we één van de vijf bedrijven zijn die ondersteund worden door CrossCare 2.0! Naast €600.000 aan financi?le steun, verdeeld over vijf innovatieve zorgbedrijven, krijgen we ook waardevolle expertise van de zorgproeftuinen binnen CrossCare. Samen met ZorgLab Aalst doen wij een gerichte gebruikersonderzoek en valideren wij onze nieuwe producten met de markt. Met deze subsidie willen we een algoritme ontwikkelen voor de perfecte rolstoelband, afgestemd op de levensstijl van gebruikers. Zo garanderen wij een juiste demping voor ieder individu. Ook investeren we in oplossingen die hen meer zelfstandigheid bieden bij reparaties en benadrukken wij de "right to repair"! ?? Eco Tire Solutions goes international! ?? For the next two days, we are attending the REHACARE – International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care in Düsseldorf, the largest fair in Europe for rehabilitation, prevention, integration, and care. Here, we are connecting with leading healthcare companies and wheelchair manufacturers to revolutionize wheelchair wheels. Our 3D-printed, custom-made wheels offer wheelchair users increased comfort, independence and give them the right to repair. The customization options are nearly endless, providing solutions for a wide range of use cases. We had an exciting meeting with the Belgian family business VERMEIREN, which produces more than 300.000 wheelchairs annually! Additionally, we engaged in discussions with international companies, from Italy to Korea, and identified several opportunities to expand our business on a global scale. Hello there! Meet Joke, a hairdresser and photographer in training, who navigates the charming streets of Bruges and Ghent with her Küschall wheelchair. To make her Kuschall wheelchair even better and more beautiful, we developed matching wheels for her.?Joke appreciates practical solutions, and our Eco Tires have been with her for a month now. She has given promising feedback: she can move more smoothly over cobblestones, and small, tricky bumps are much easier to overcome. Especially in cities like Bruges and Ghent, the true power of the Eco Tire shines through. After a month, I am incredibly impressed and can't understand how the team at Eco Tire Solutions managed to create a wheel that fits my lifestyle and weight so perfectly. Joke's eye for detail and sharp ability to express her needs make her feedback invaluable to us. Her honest opinions drive our innovation forward. Joke uses relatively small 5-inch front wheels that often get stuck in cracks, hindering her mobility. Traditional options fell short until she discovered our Eco Tires. These offer the perfect balance of softness, ride quality, and durability. Meet Tamás ?? a passionate software engineer working in Brussels, dedicated to driving sustainability through his work with SAP software. As a software engineer accustomed to problem-solving, Tamás understands the importance of innovation in every aspect of life, including mobility aids. ? Navigating the cobblestone streets and bustling sidewalks of Brussels can be a challenge. Especially with the hard front wheels that came included with his Küschall wheelchair. They vibrate at high speeds and don't provide any cushioning. So when Tamás heard about our Eco Tires he was excited to try them out. ? Tamás required larger 6" front wheels that were softer than traditional caster wheels, yet maintained excellent maneuverability and smooth driving. A description that fits our Eco Tires perfectly! ? His insights and enthusiasm throughout the process have been invaluable.
