Here's some great green news to end this work week (and perhaps even the year?) on a high note ?? SEKEM Group was one of the first restoration communities to join the ERC movement, with their Sekem Wahat initiative located in the Bahariya oasis in the Egyptian Western Desert - a social innovation project that integrates ecological, economic, cultural and community life to restore desert land. This is just one initiative of SEKEM, which has been operating since since the 1970s to transform hostile desert landscapes into functional ecosystems and sustainable communities. In recognition of their achievements, they've just been named one of the six 2024?Champions of the Earth?– UN Environment Programme's highest environmental honour – in the Entrepreneurial Vision category ???? Contour Lines Corp, part of the Ecosystem Restoration Communities movement, is a true reflection of this philosophy in action!
