In celebration of #NationalApprenticeshipWeek, Team DEO, in partnership with @bricfoundation and @SBWIB, is thrilled to announce a $1.5M investment to expand the Arts, Media & Entertainment High Road Training Partnership (AME-HRTP)! ??? This initiative will empower underserved communities, especially those impacted by COVID, with access to high-quality training, career coaching, mentorship, and paid on-the-job experience in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment industries. ?? With a focus on high-skill, high-wage roles in Film/TV, Animation, VFX, Games, Music, Live Events, and more, this program also fosters union training and mentorship for lasting career opportunities. This investment builds on a $3.5M commitment from the California Workforce Development Board and $37.47M in DEO’s broader investment in HRTPs. ?? Day Two of National Apprenticeship Week is here and today we’re spotlighting Registered Apprenticeships in New and Emerging Industries Around the Globe! ?? At DEO, we’re proud to be your local gateway to rewarding careers in nontraditional sectors through apprenticeships. With our Early Care and Education Assistant Teacher Apprenticeship program, individuals passionate about working with young children can connect to a meaningful career pathway in early childhood education. Participants can look forward to: ? NO COST community college education with full tuition coverage ?? Paid Registered Apprenticeship Program with classroom learning and on-the-job training at a childcare or early education employer ?? Job placement with a committed employer Upon completion of the program, graduates will earn their State-issued Associate Teacher License - and best of all, you’ll do it DEBT FREE. Through our Digital Storytelling Pre-Apprenticeship program, facilitated in partnership with Team DEO and Venice Arts, youth participants have an opportunity to build their creative and technical knowledge in digital storytelling and multimedia skills!
