ENOC Group and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced today that they have signed a trial agreement to explore the feasibility of green hydrogen-powered mobility solutions in the emirate of Dubai, a move that would drive the Dubai Green Mobility Strategy 2030 and support the development of the UAE’s green hydrogen economy. Under the agreement, ENOC Group will supply green hydrogen fuel to RTA’s hydrogen-powered city buses. It will also provide technical support and data on green hydrogen refueling to assist RTA in conducting a comprehensive feasibility study. As chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, issued Executive Council Resolution No. (13) of 2025, regarding the formation of the Data and Statistics Committee in the Emirate of Dubai. ADQ, a sovereign investor based in Abu Dhabi, has revealed plans to invest more than $25 billion to provide power to data centers in the U.S., in collaboration with U.S. private equity firm ECP (Energy Capital Partners). The two parties have formed a 50-50 partnership focused on developing new power generation and energy infrastructure. Their joint effort aims to meet the increasing energy demands of data centers, hyperscale cloud companies, and other energy-intensive sectors, according to ADQ.
