The Economic Democracy Initiative (EDI) was launched in January 2021 as the Open Society University Network (OSUN)’s collaborative program that focuses on economic democracy and basic economic rights as preconditions for stability, security, and opportunity for all. By challenging economic orthodoxy and leveraging the interdisciplinary research and teaching methods of experts across the OSUN network and beyond, EDI explores policy solutions for a just and sustainable future.
