ECOMPEX Salutes - Transportation Security Administration (TSA) The Aviation and Transportation Security Act and the birth of TSA. On this day, November 19, 2001, former President George W. Bush signed the Aviation and Transportation Security Act (ATSA), forever changing air travel as it was once known. The TSA of today has enthusiastically entered into surface transportation – mass transit, passenger and freight rail, highway and motor carrier, pipeline and maritime security and has evolved into the flexible and agile organization to defend against ever-evolving threats to the security of our nation’s transportation systems. Most recently, TSA has strengthened TSA Cyber Teams to defend against ongoing infrastructure and cyber threat challenges. To inquire about contract employment opportunities with TSA, contact us! Last month, the DHA Sustainability Team traded in our usual workstations for bowling lanes, and what a fantastic outing it was! Not only did we enjoy some friendly competition, but we also strengthened our bonds as a team dedicated to making a positive impact on our planet. Building camaraderie is essential for fostering collaboration and innovation, and there's no better way to do that than through shared experiences. Laughter, strikes, and even the occasional gutter ball brought us closer together as we celebrated our commitment to sustainability and teamwork.
