Fat Brain Toy's Shop By gift finder lets you browse collections picked by girls and boys Is there an additional layer of trust or value to curate collections by customer, expert or creator? I've seen similar approaches, Etsy has for a long time used staff-curated collections and campaigns, Crate & Barrel has featured "Pairings From Our Designers" (see examples in comments) In recent years, Target, Kohl's and Gymshark have all experimented with "Creator Shops" curated by influencer partners Fat Brain has since redesigned their site and dropped this feature, I saved this from last holiday -- we can only speculate to the reasons why But wanted to share this idea, you may find your own use case for 'CCC' (customer curated collections) in 2025 #merchandising #BFCM

Grid view toggles are nothing new but P448 pins the button to the bottom right on mobile so users can control their browse experience ?? many sites just show an obscure boxy icon in the top right of the filter/sort bar without a label The Switch View label makes it clear Large 1x1 cards give you a better view of the product but force you to scroll and lose context of your options You can also A/B test which view you show by default Desktop view in comments (with control bottom left) PS - the entire P448 dot com theme is full of design surprises ;) #ecommerce #shopify #UIUX
