To equip energy communities with the tools and strategies needed to attract and engage new members in their initiatives. Calling all Italian speakers! Il T Quotidiano has featured ECOEMPOWER and the incredible progress of energy communities in Trentino! The article highlights the efforts of the Provincia Autonoma di Trento within the ECOEMPOWER project to provide concrete support for the creation of energy initiatives in all possible forms. 4th ECOEMPOWER Project Meeting in Lyon! Last week's two-day meeting in Lyon was incredibly productive and inspiring! On Day 1, we focused on: ? Updates on work packages ? Valuable tips for the Interim Report from our Project Officer, Silvia Vivarelli ? A hands-on workshop on ECOEMPOWER Tools ? Ending the day with a guided tour of beautiful Lyon On Day 2, we explored: ? A workshop on "Which Tools in My OSS?" ? A session on ECOEMPOWER Storytelling Beyond the insightful discussions, it was a pleasure to connect with so many project partners, exchange ideas, and, of course, enjoy some authentic Lyonnaise cuisine! A huge thank you to our fantastic hosts from Association Centrales Villageoises for organizing this event and to our Project Officer for spending one and a half days with us! The next major milestone for ECOEMPOWER: Launch of the One Stop Shop in Allg?u! We are excited to announce another great achievement for the ECOEMPOWER Project — the launch of the One Stop Shop for energy communities in the Allg?u region! This new online platform is a key step in supporting municipalities, businesses, and individuals in establishing or joining an energy community. It provides: ? Key definitions & answers to frequently asked questions ? An overview of the most relevant regional partners for setting up and managing an energy community ? Links to national contact points, helpful materials, and tools to support planning & implementation This marks an important milestone in the ECOEMPOWER project’s mission to strengthen citizen participation and local energy initiatives. The One Stop Shop will continue to grow, and we look forward to refining our advisory services to provide even more tailored support in the future. A major milestone for ECOEMPOWER! We are happy to announce that ECOEMPOWER’s first official One Stop Shop is now formally active! The Provincia Autonoma di Trento, our Italian partner, has established a dedicated One Stop Shop to support renewable energy communities in Trentino. This online service is a valuable resource for citizens, businesses, public bodies, and private individuals interested in creating or joining an energy community or exploring self-consumption and renewable energy sharing opportunities under Italian regulations. ?? Through the portal https://lnkd.in/dSFZSG3u, users can: ? Access insights on national and local opportunities ? Utilize online tools to configure and design an Energy Community ? Discover energy communities in the process of being set up This achievement comes after multiple engagements with local stakeholders, paving the way for a service that will, in the future, be directly managed by the stakeholders. This is just the first step toward a more sustainable, community-driven energy future! Starting the New Year Strong: Inspiring Conversations on Climate & Energy We kicked off 2025 with a fantastic event as part of the “Klima & Energie” lecture series in Füssen, Allg?u, on January 13th. The evening's topic, selected by the community as the most interesting among several climate themes, was Energy Sharing. Ludwig Karg from B.A.U.M. Consult GmbH captivated the audience with his presentation, “Energy Sharing: Today, Tomorrow, and Beyond,” offering deep insights into the future of energy sharing. He also highlighted our project, ECOEMPOWER, showcasing the exciting work we’re doing in the region to advance sustainable energy solutions. A heartfelt thank you to the attendees who joined us! Our project coordinator Cinzia Morisco, joined the roundtable “HUBs Territoriali per le Comunità Energetiche", in Modena. Together with representatives from ENCOM Hub and DISCOVER project, Cinzia discussed the crucial role of renewable energy communities in Italy’s energy transition. These communities are key to decentralizing energy production, optimizing consumption, and reducing reliance on fossil fuels!
