Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and Bethune-Cookman University (BCU) have formed a dynamic partnership for the EcoCAR Challenge, where they are modifying a Cadillac LYRIQ into a high-performance, all-electric vehicle. This collaboration brings together a diverse team of over 50 students from disciplines such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, and human factors, all united in their mission to advance sustainable transportation. ? Argonne’s Dr. Nick Goberville is leading a team of researchers that are building upon standard CAV testing protocols by developing the framework and methodologies for dynamometer and track testing for Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Energy Consumption, which will be piloted by EcoCAR students.
