Congratulations to EcoAthletes Champion Belle Pellecchia on helping to lead the New York University Violets to their second straight NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship today as they defeated Smith College (MA) 77-49. The senior point guard finished her incredible career in style, averaging 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3 steals per game in the semis and finals. Her heady offense and relentless defense earned her the Final Four MVP as the Violets completed their second straight undefeated season, winning their last 62 games in a row! Belle is also an MVP for EcoAthletes, bringing strategic savvy and creativity to her role as social media intern over the last ten months. We have been blessed to work with her and we can’t wait to see how she drives the?#ClimateComeback?in her next chapter.
