Neighborhood researchers in the US are looking for traces of methane using industry-grade monitors. They are seeking to find the quality of air in a particular area using sensors that detect the presence of a number of different gases. Methane and other gases, especially nitrogen oxide from gas stoves, are linked to higher risks of asthma. People in Oklahoma have been asked to remain cautious as tornado alerts are issued for multiple counties, such as Blaine and Custer. People can expect strong storms. The tornadoes are expected to be short-lived, but conditions remain dangerous. People in Oklahoma can expect gusts of 60 to 80 miles per hour and hail measuring up to a golf ball. Raging flames in northeastern Japan because of a forest fire has scorched the largest area of land in more than 30 years. Local firefighters and the Self-Defence Forces are putting considerable effort into controlling the situation. This blaze has affected the largest area since the Heisei era – lasting from 1989 through 2019, the fire and disaster management agency said. Ebola and climate change are possibly connected? The threat of Ebola outbreaks is likely to increase as greenhouse gases continue to enter the atmosphere, according to researchers. Once spread to humans, Ebola can be transmitted from person to person through direct contact.
