Last week, ECMC employees rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at Open Arms of Minnesota, a nonprofit dedicated to preparing and delivering medically tailored meals to critically ill Minnesotans and their loved ones. Thanks to the hard work and compassion of our team, we helped pack over 2,400 meals! These made-from-scratch, nutritious meals are crafted with care by Open Arms’ in-house chefs and dietitians using fresh, organic ingredients whenever possible. We’re proud to support an organization that brings nourishment and comfort to those in need—and even prouder to have been part of such meaningful work.

We had a great time and were proud to be sponsors of the Career and Technical Education Summit, organized by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and the Minnesota Department of Education. Our senior vice president and chief of staff, Heidi Johnson, had the honor of speaking on a panel about Co-Lab, a centrally located space designed to provide young adults with the resources they need to support their mental and physical health, financial wellness, educational goals, and career development. Earlier this week, employees in our Sacramento office got the chance to participate in Giving Day! Staff made snack kits, pet toys, and fleece tie blankets for Mather Veterans Village, Stanford Sierra Youth & Families and the Bradshaw Animal Shelter. They also sorted, bagged, and boxed fresh produce and non-perishable items for the Sacramento Food Bank. This afternoon in the Minneapolis office, employees participated in our annual "Giving Day." The end of the year is often called the giving season, a time to help others in need. In the spirit of giving, the ECMC Group's Caring for the Community Committee hosted a successful event.
