As we move further into 2025, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey that brought us here. 2024 was a year of growth, resilience, and impact—one that reminded us of the power of love and courage to transform lives. We are deeply honored to have been recognized by TBR News Media as 2024 People of the Year, a reflection of the work we do together to empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and trauma. In 2024, with your support, we were able to: ? Answer countless calls on our 24-hour hopeline, offering comfort and safety. ? Provide trauma-informed counseling and legal advocacy, giving survivors the tools to reclaim their lives. ? Expand our youth mentorship programs, ensuring the next generation is equipped to lead with strength and compassion. ? Offer housing assistance, legal support, and a welcoming food pantry to those in need. While 2024 set the foundation, 2025 is about building on that momentum. The need for our services continues to grow, and we remain committed to meeting it with unwavering determination and hope. To our team, partners, and supporters: Thank you for walking this journey with us. Together, we are making a difference. Let’s keep moving forward—empowering lives, strengthening communities, and creating brighter futures. #NonprofitImpact #ECLIVIBES #TraumaInformedCare #CommunityEmpowerment

In a recent Newsday article, Heather Parrott , SAFE program, Director highlighted the critical role our volunteer-based rape crisis counselors play—often during the most challenging overnight and weekend shifts. Our strategy to support them is simple but not always easy. High call volumes, emergencies, and the unexpected can pull us in many directions, but we make it a priority to: 1??Check in after every call to ensure volunteers feel heard, supported, and valued. 2??Create space to provide encouragement, connection, and ongoing feedback. 3??Lean into our servant leadership model to build trust and retention. This intentional approach has led to a 70% increase in shift coverage this year. By prioritizing care for those who dedicate their time to this work, we strengthen our ability to respond to over 230 crisis calls annually. It’s not just about showing up for survivors; it’s about showing up for one another. Because when we prioritize the well-being of our team, we build the capacity to make a lasting impact. To our volunteers: your commitment is the foundation of this work, and we are endlessly grateful for all you do. ? #Volunteer #ECLIVIBES #ServantLeadership #CommunityImpact

We are honored to be featured in Newsday, highlighting the work we do at ECLI-VIBES to support our community. ?? Our mission goes beyond addressing trauma; we recognize that basic needs like food and shelter are critical stepping stones to healing and mental health. As we shared, “People can’t focus on counseling if they’re hungry.” Through our food pantry, supported by incredible partners like Long Island Cares, Inc | The Harry Chapin Food Bank and Island Harvest Food Bank Harvest, we assist approximately 1,200 individuals each month—families who depend on us to put food on the table. This Thanksgiving, we extended that support with Blessing Boxes for 200 families, ensuring they have what they need for a holiday filled with love and care. While we’ve had to adapt to increasing demands, it is our privilege to stand with the community and ensure no one is left behind. Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible—from our partners and donors to our amazing team. Together, we continue to empower and uplift those in need. #CommunitySupport #FoodPantry #ECLIVIBES #NonprofitImpact

As we reflect on the impact we’ve made together, we are reminded that our mission to support survivors and empower individuals to break cycles of violence and trauma is not one we achieve alone. Our success is built on the incredible partnerships we’ve cultivated—relationships with community organizations, businesses, donors, and volunteers who share our vision of a safer, healthier future. From mentorship programs for youth to collaborations that expand access to housing, legal support, and advocacy, our partners are the heart of what we do. Your unwavering commitment enables us to provide free, trauma-informed, client-led services to those who need them most. Thank you for standing with us, for believing in the work we do, and for being part of this journey. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate community. Here’s to the power of partnership and the lives we continue to change—together. #Gratitude #CommunityPartnerships #BreakingTheCycle #ECLIVIBES
