If you already applied a patch in October, you also need to apply a second patch, as well, as the first didn't completely address the vulnerabilities. This exploit has now been leveraged in the wild and is the amount of damage that can be done via this exploit is seismic. ?? ?? ?? After you patch vCenter, your next step should be reaching to Eclipse to provide guidance on how to create a more secure network and protect yourself from exploit-based attacks which are now the #1 way bad actors are gaining access to your systems and data.
