ECHAlliance Ecosystem of the Month: USA – Central Florida Life Science Cluster This November, we highlight the USA – Central Florida Life Science Cluster, led by Cenfluence and supported by the Florida High Tech Corridor. With over 230 members and 150 stakeholders, including universities, local governments, and private organisations, the ecosystem drives innovation, creating over 15,000 jobs and fostering diversity, with 40% of businesses being women- or minority-owned. Cenfluence has secured $26.2 million in funding and facilitated $48.1 million in opportunities, positioning Central Florida as a global hub for life sciences and digital health. Our team members, Andy Bleaden and Iman Amar Aomar have been in Cluj-Napoca Romania this week for the NOTRE | Interreg EUROPE project meeting (funded by Interreg Europe and led by Pannon Business Network, where we had the pleasure of hosting our first 7 Nation ecosystem gathering for this semester targeting adoption of healthy ageing solutions. This session brought together participants from seven nations: Italy, Hungary, Romania, Finland, Spain, France, and Serbia—an inspiring gathering of needs, knowledge best practice and shared goals! The NOTRE project aims to help the ageing population by improving policy instruments that support innovative new products through regional collaboration. By connecting multiple diverse ecosystems, we help foster innovation and resilience in communities across Europe around healthy ageing.
