Excited to take on our second fashion documentary film project with Ashley McDonnell ! Brand development and story-telling is at the heart of all ECG Marketing does, and we can't wait to help bring this story to life! Proud to have our first award-winning film project we developed the marketing and awards campaign for "Let Me Be Me" receive an Emmy nomination, here's to hopefully another award winning project Ashley McDonnell !
DOCUMENTARY PARTNERSHIPS ?? Earlier this year, myself and Ireland’s first BCorp fashion house Aoife McNamara pitched an idea to Debbie O'Donnell of Seahorse Media IRL: a documentary about the impact of fast fashion on our planet after we’ve made a purchase. Not the production or the retail elements which have been covered extensively (without much change!), but showcasing myself and Aoife on a journey from Ireland to the summit of Kilimanjaro, and discovering what fashion means across the globe while exposing the huge landfills across Africa that are overflowing with unwanted, low quality clothes discarded by western consumers, after they’ve purchased these garments. In 10 weeks, myself and Aoife Mc Namara will be swapping our stylish (but sustainable!) outfits for hiking boots and backpacks as we embark to Tanzania to summit Kilimanjaro, an 8 day journey reaching altitudes of 5,895 m (19,431 ft) ??? We have big goals for the documentary, are already planning our Cannes Lions debut for June 2025, premieres in Dublin, London, Paris and the USA before going live on national television and international platforms. However; we need help! ?? Any brands, platforms, organizations or people interested in telling this story, educating around the impact of fashion on economics and environments globally and getting involved, let us know! A production like this costs upwards of €250,000 with a big team involved not just during filming but also post production. We’ve got world class creatives and producers as well as ECG Marketing who recently brought their first fashion documentary to the Emmys. We’re aiming high and bringing anyone else along the journey who wants to get involved ?? Our next filming day is this Saturday in the Wicklow Mountains, a final training day together with Aoife Mc Namara and our videographer Ben O’Neill as we have a last sprint to prepare physically for the biggest climb of our lives ??
