Fostering Collaboration in the Workplace Through Interior Design In efforts to foster collaboration at ECF, we were intentional with our vision for our 20,000 sq ft self-engineered headquarters building. Below are the Top 3 Conscious Design Choices we implemented: 1. Open Floor Plans: Design open spaces that minimize barriers between teams. Avoid high cubicle walls and create a layout that fosters visual connections among employees. 2. Collaborative Spaces: Create designated collaboration zones with comfortable seating, whiteboards, and technology for presentations. These areas can be used for teamwork and brainstorming sessions. 3. Natural Light and Views: Maximize natural light and incorporate large windows or glass walls. Access to natural light can enhance mood and productivity, and views of the outside can provide stimulation. It was an absolute pleasure to have Rylee as a summer intern. We appreciate you for all that you have done in your brief time with ECF!
My time as a Marketing Intern for ECF Engineering Consultants came to an end last week. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to ECF for allowing me to spend this summer with them and their guidance. Special thanks to Chelsea Beckton, ECF’s Marketing Manager, for giving me the opportunity to showcase and expand my skills. Under her guidance I learned what being in Marketing for a large firm entails and asks of you on a daily basis. Some of my day-to-day tasks included the creation of social media content, edits to the company website, and the drafting of newsletters and other company-wide emails. This summer taught me valuable lessons in what hard work, integrity, and the willingness to grow can get you. The experience ECF gave me is one that will stick with me as I pursue future endeavors!?
