Policy change in action! ??? Today, Hon'ble Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma powerfully raised the crucial child care concerns in the Indian Parliament,?giving the example of the Haryana State Creche Policy 2022. This milestone is a testament to the tireless advocacy of National FORCES' partners, who are amplifying the undeniable link between early childhood, women's work, and national growth. National FORCES, a network dedicated to the rights of women informal workers access to social protection entitlements, especially quality childcare and maternity benefits, is driving this change and the Early Childhood Development Action Network (ECDAN), working through the Childcare Systems Collaborative, is proud to support this critical work, driving systemic change that benefits all children and families. Most of these deaths occurred due to diseases and conditions that can be easily prevented and treated. UNICEF and partners work around the world to ensure children have access to life-saving health services, so they not only survive but thrive. But we need more support.
