? 1939 ? Eby Construction’s first projects included installing driveways and erecting “Flying Horse” signs for Mobil Oil service stations in and around Wichita. Martin and Pauline ran the business from their home, where he prepared the estimates, and she served as secretary and bookkeeper. Within the first two years of being in business, Eby Construction received the first of what would be many numerous federal contracts and began working on the new Post Office building located in Council Grove, Kansas. #EbyIconic #Throwback

Project Highlight ? WSU Woodman First Floor Remodel ?? The Wichita State University Woodman Center renovation, led by the Wichita State University Foundation and Alumni Engagement, was completed in May and is a resounding success. ?? Project exceeded expectations in cleanliness and quality, earning praise from the customer and architect. ?? Renovation modernized the facility, creating a welcoming space for alumni, donors, and visitors. ?? Safety was enhanced with a new fire sprinkler system on the first floor, improving fire protection. Reconfigured walls optimized space and created efficient flow throughout the building. Upgraded finishes added a polished final touch. ?? The Woodman Center now stands as a testament to Wichita State’s commitment to excellence in campus facilities. Many thanks to the Eby employees who contributed to this project!
