EBS-C is Hands On Army Auditability ???????? At the 2025?Society of Defense Financial Management (SDFM) National Capital Region (NCR) Professional Development Institute (PDI) conference held on March 26, EBS-C leadership made it clear: modernizing the U.S. Army's financial management IT systems is not just about technology — it's about accuracy, auditability, and accountability for mission readiness. As the Army’s unified business modernization effort, EBS-C is laying the foundational finance capabilities that the Army needs for transparency and trust across the enterprise. Taking what we’ve learned from our current ERPs and answering FY28 audit requirements, EBS-C is the Army’s modernized platform for a sustained audit. The Marine Corps proved it’s possible…now it’s our turn! #EBSC #USArmy #AllHandsAllDomains #Audit2028 #DefenseModernization #ArmyReadiness #Lethality #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #CommercialasPossible #MilitaryAsNecessary #armyauditability Nikki Cabezas ASA (FM&C)

The Army is overhauling how it does sustainment in order to operate at the speed of conflict during the information age. As the United States Army modernizes to compete in the multi-domain battlefield of the future, its Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) must evolve. EBS Convergence aims to deploy an EBS that can support a modern Army in motion using industry best practices and cutting-edge technology. By deploying logistics, financial management and other core business operations in a single solution, EBS Convergence will increase Army readiness and productivity.? EBS Convergence is led by a team that was established by the Under Secretary of the Army in June 2020. The members of this team are the Army’s leading minds behind technology, data management, and business operations. They continue to work tirelessly at bringing this vision of a modernized EBS landscape to our Warfighters and Civilians. To do this, they are re-engineering the Army’s business processes, developing an intuitive user interface, applying advanced data analytics, and much more. We invite you to follow us and stay informed as we solve this once in a generation problem!

??Co-creating the future with our users?? Last week, the EBS-C Multi Functional Capabilities Team (MFCT) met with Distribution Planners at Headquarters, Joint Munitions Command (JMC), who are responsible for the strategic positioning of munitions at retail Ammunition Supply Activity (ASA) warehouses across the continental United States. The team provided industry perspectives on Distribution Planning and provided a demonstration of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solution that will be fielded with EBS-C. The initial production release of IBP to JMC is scheduled for this fiscal year. The goal of the release is to perform distribution planning for a single ASA, followed by iterative expansion to additional ASAs. Through a human-centered design (HCD) approach, the team worked directly with JMC planners to gather their insights and real-world experiences -- addressing their current needs and challenges – while simultaneously assessing the latest processes and how they align with industry best practices.?? End-users walked away with a deeper understanding of EBS-C and how it will simplify and improve how they do their jobs. They also identified opportunities to enhance how JMC supports the organic industrial base and aligns with the future of Army sustainment.? EBS-C focuses on “People First” as one of the program’s core guiding principles. An HCD approach not only makes the technical solution more user-friendly, but these practices also enable faster training and reduce transaction workload and processing time to ensure our Warfighters have more time to focus on the fight. Together, we are working with our end-users to challenge the status quo, ensuring that the best solutions are in the hands of our Warfighters when and where they need them most. #EBSC #CoCreatingtheFuture #USArmy #Innovation #Lethality #Readiness #DefenseInnovation #OrganicIndustrialBase #SustainmentModernization

EBS-C is driving Warfighter lethality and readiness! ?????? Our team recently visited Fort Campbell, KY, home of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), U.S. Army, to showcase how EBS-C will enhance warfighting capabilities through modernized logistics and supply chain management. By streamlining how work is done and leveraging next-generation solutions, we're increasing speed and accuracy of support to the Warfighter. Leaders from U.S. Army Sustainment Command and the 406th Army Field Support Brigade gained valuable insights into EBS-C's initial capability release, which will improve ammunition management and other critical functions at the Ammunition Supply Point. Our team is committed to delivering capabilities that drive readiness and lethality, empowering our Warfighters to win decisively. We're proud to be part of the effort to restore the warrior ethos, rebuild our military's capabilities, and reestablish deterrence through strength. ??? #EBSC #USArmy #Innovation #Lethality #Readiness #ArmyReadiness #DefenseModernization?#OrganicIndustrialBase #CoCreatingtheFuture #brillianceatthebasics

“We’re in a time of change in how we modernize software … now our policy is to partner with the OEM and work with system integrators to build [the software], said PEO Enterprise Deputy PEO Brig. Gen. Robert (RJ) Mikesh, Jr. “We went from it taking years to delivering in 45 days; we’re operating in two-week sprints; we’re testing differently, and we’re getting software in the hands of Soldiers so they can use it and provide feedback,” BG Mikesh added. BG Mikesh spoke on a panel at AFCEA NOVA’s Army IT Day with Ms. Nikki Cabezas, Director of Financial Information Management, ASA (FM&C) and Mr. Robin Swan, Director of Business Transformation. Thank you Greg Garcia for moderating! #2025ArmyITDay | #USArmy | #EBSC | #DigitalTransformation | #CommercialAsPossible | #MilitaryAsNecessary | #Army2030

DYK: 80 years ago, German forces launched a major offensive against the Allied forces in the Ardennes region of Belgium. The offensive created a “bulge” within the Allies’ front lines. The Allies courageously defended their position, despite being outmanned and outgunned for over six weeks. Today, we honor Army Soldiers who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, one of the bloodiest and most decisive land battles during World War II. Their steadfast commitment to defending freedom ultimately changed the course of the war, and their fighting spirit continues to inspire us now.
