? Our Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation's #FNDGiveDay is TOMORROW! ??
Food Connects Us...and So Does the Foundation! "This year’s National Nutrition Month? theme is Food Connects Us. This theme is applicable in so many ways to the work that RDNs and NDTRs perform. First, as nutrition professionals and students, food truly is our common language. Food is how we seek to improve the health of our patients, clients, and the public. As individuals and parts of communities, families and friend groups, food is an important part of how we connect. It’s part of our culture." Read the rest of the article at the link below and hear from Academy Foundation champions, including Eileen Myers, MPH, RDN, LDN, CEDS-S, FADA, FAND, Kailin Hose, NDTR, Alyssa Frisby, MS, RDN, LD, and Katherine Baker, PhD, MS, MPH, NDTR, about their support for the Foundation and Foundation Give Day! #AcademyFoundation #NationalNutritionMonth #FNDGiveDay cc: Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

On March 12, Academy CEO Wylecia Wiggs Harris kicked off the special Dietitian Demo on Capitol Hill by sharing the purpose of the event: to educate, engage and advocate. Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, who spoke about the importance of "Food Is Medicine" and the role of RDNs. #RDNday #NationalNutritionMonth
