Looking back at one of our favorite schoolyard builds from this summer–our fifth build of the year at Oakland’s Bridges Academy! Watch to the end to see students enjoy the vibrant new spaces we created in partnership with KABOOM! and Oakland Unified School District. Highlights include a kid-designed play structure, upgraded garden spaces, a Little Town Library, a multi-sport court, new soccer goals, and colorful murals throughout. This project built on the work done by Trust for Public Land who had recently added even more green space to the school with 54 new trees, a shade structure, a turf play area, and a nature play area with an outdoor classroom. We are grateful for the ongoing support of Workday and Kaiser Permanente, the Bridges Academy community, and all of our volunteers and supporters! Video by Cal Hunter

A little rain won’t stop our team from visiting Oakland schools! Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, Alameda County Community Food Bank, Oakland Literacy Coalition, and Community Kitchens Oakland brought our #EatLearnPlayBus distribution inside to deliver Laurel Elementary students new, culturally relevant books, fresh produce, and nutritious snacks on a particularly wet Oakland morning this week. Thanks to these students for sharing some of their favorite books and snacks with us!

The team at Thirty Ink is making big things happen!
???Exciting Recap from Our Thirty Ink "Sessions" Networking Event!??? ? We recently hosted our very first community event to introduce the collective of Thirty Ink business entities that are all committed to impact and achievement. This event was not just a celebration of our combined mission among the growing portfolio of endeavors, but also a moment to show our partners and community the many ways they can join us in scaling our impact. ? Our founder, Stephen Curry, kicked things off by welcoming guests and sharing our overarching vision to uplift those often overlooked, and to provide opportunities for growth and visibility where it’s needed most. ? Next, our COO, Tiffany Williams, introduced our guiding framework:?"Lens, Learn, and Legacy."?This powerful concept underscores how each brand within the Thirty Ink portfolio is dedicated to youth development, amplifying authentic narratives, and supporting athletes on their journey beyond sports. ? Throughout the evening, we showcased the unique contributions of each business in our portfolio and explored how our partners and community members can engage with us to help elevate the under. From insightful discussions to new collaborations, the event highlighted where we can intersect in partnership and take actionable next steps that will move the needle. ? As we closed out the night, Stephen returned to the stage for a heartfelt?Gentleman’s Cut toast, celebrating the strong connections made and the shared commitment to our mission. ? Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inaugural event. If you're interested in exploring ways to partner—we’d love to connect! ? #ElevateTheUnder #ThirtyInk #Networking #Community #YouthDevelopment

We’re thrilled to announce the completion of our Stonehurst Campus schoolyard transformation, impacting the lives of kids at Esperanza Elementary and Korematsu Discovery Academy! From kid-designed play structures to a nature exploration area with 15 new trees, two multi-sport courts, new soccer goals, a Little Town Library, vibrant murals, and more—this space is now a hub of joy, learning, and play for the Oakland community. After completing phase one of this project last year, we’re thrilled to finalize phase two, ensuring all Stonehurst Campus students have amazing spaces to play. A huge thanks to our partners KABOOM!, Oakland Unified School District, Workday, and Kaiser Permanente, as well as all the dedicated volunteers who made this possible. We’re one step closer to our goal of revitalizing 25 schoolyards by 2026, creating equitable places for every child to thrive.

Did you know that Regina Jackson and her father, Major Howard Jackson, made history back to back in 2023 and 2024? In 2023 they became the first father and daughter to each receive the President’s Volunteer Service Award in the same year and in 2024 they became the first father and daughter to each have a street named for them in the City of Oakland ??

We’re still celebrating our 15th schoolyard build, completed at REACH Academy this past September! Featuring kid-designed play structures, a nature exploration area, a new soccer pitch, multi-sport court, vibrant murals, and even a Little Town Library to foster play, connection, and community. With 25 schoolyards in our sights by 2026, we’re creating places where kids can thrive!
