Easy Mile Fitness is proud to give back to the areas we are in, especially to the folks that protect and serve our communities. The Easley, South Carolina Police Department received a donation of cardio equipment from our local Planet Fitness. They were so excited, they had to try them out first! Thank you to the Easley Police Department and all that you do.

Here's a sneak peek of our Member Appreciation Day, celebrating our first year at Village Market Place! We had some raffles, a few pet adoptions and lots of fun. Thanks to our partners and members that made it all happen. More highlights to come!

During the month of October, over 2,000 Planet Fitness clubs participated in the annual Boys & Girls Clubs of America Fundraiser. Easy Mile Fitness is proud to announce that their Los Filtros location came in third place for collecting the most individual member donations! We can't do this without our staff welcoming and engaging with all our members, and everybody coming together to strengthen their communities. Congratulations to the entire team in Los Filtros!

Easy Mile Fitness continues to add team members to fill out the new office! Meet our newest employee in the Boston Back Office, Brian Kelly! "I'm excited to be here at Easy Mile Fitness, and to work alongside the amazing people here in my new role. I look forward to the hard work ahead as our team continues to strengthen and streamline our processes. Outside of work, you can find me at TD Garden catching a Bruins game, or somewhere in the North End getting a chicken parm and cannoli."

As Easy Mile Fitness continues to grow, we couldn't have done it without a brand new office to call our own. With the help of Sienna Construction Ltd, Dyer Brown & Associates, and Environments at Work our little slice of Back Bay is an integral part of our growth. And the unsung hero BostonbeaN Coffee Company, always quick to get rid of an empty Cold Brew keg!

Wrapping up our Core Value Awards is our Financial Controller Dave Bauer, CMA. Dave was faced with the tall task bringing our accounting in-house, while developing structures and systems for our Finance Department. There were quite a few challenges this year, but Easy Mile Fitness is better suited for the future, thanks to Dave's hard work and the great team he has built.

Get the Operations Team in here! The first EMF Core Value Awards Ceremony at the Conference in Las Vegas recognized our employees that embody our core values that help drive the company forward. Our Senior Area Manager Cristina Lopez received the We Encourage Award. She spends countless hours in clubs talking to Easy Mile Team Members, celebrating our wins, and learning from our mistakes. Truly a team player!

Easy Mile Fitness is proud to announce the opening of our 51st Planet Fitness location! As of Sunday evening, Se?orial Plaza in San Juan, Puerto Rico is home to our newest club! Special thanks to Keishla Tejedor Rodriguez, Carlos Baez, Benjamin Brady, Robert Hagerty, John Patino and the rest of our first-class team to get this club open over the weekend, and ready for the Monday rush!

Easy Mile Fitness brought some purple! Last week at the Susan G. Komen P. R. 5k Race for the Cure, 15,000 runners helped raise funds for breast cancer research. Plenty of Planet Fitness members and a few Easy Mile Fitness employees took to the streets of San Juan, for a great cause, and a great afternoon.

While we were in Las Vegas, our Leadership Team was surprised with the inaugural EMF Core Value Awards Ceremony. We recognized our employees that embody our core values to help drive our company forward. Our Field Human Resources Manager Amanda Cintrón, CCRH, SHRM-CP won the We Collaborate award. Her ability to travel to all 50 clubs, solving problems for +700 employees is nothing short of remarkable. Bravo, Amanda!
