An impromptu short clip from this past The Running Event show on what is the VELOUS point of difference with respect to recovery footwear. From my own experience of searching for a better solution and working with partners Bradley Bischel, Damon Butler we looked at the biomechanics of the foot and briefed a technical multi foam midsole and outsole, breaking down the foot strike motion on what the foot needs to recover at each phase. Through rigorous wear testing and working with podiatrist Dr. Timothy Mineo, we confirmed we were on the right track in helping runners, athletes of all levels and people with foot issues recover better.
