Inspired by tales of smugglers caught in fierce storms, with their precious cargo washed ashore at Kincrag, our Washed Ashore Series celebrates rums with stories as rich as their flavours. ????? This first release is an outstanding example of the French Caribbean Agricole style, boasting fruity and funky notes from its time in French virgin oak, matured under the tropical heat of Mauritius. But the story doesn't end there! Once the cask made its way to our shores, it was re-racked into an ex-Bourbon cask, letting our cool UK climate work its magic—smoothing and mellowing the rum for the perfect, lingering finish. ??
