Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in Human Resources. Our chapter represents Caroline, Dorchester, Queen Anne, Talbot, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties in Maryland, Sussex County in Delaware and the Eastern Shore. Monthly chapter meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Dove Pointe in Salisbury, MD. Breakfast starts at 7:30am, program begins at 8:00am. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting or event!

Maryland's "FAMLI" implementation is under a proposed delay in Annapolis. As a reminder, FAMLI is a state paid leave program applicable to ALL employers with at least one worker in MD. Employers are required to provide access to leave insurance. Those with 14 or less workers won't pay the employer tax, but employees of those companies will pay into the leave fund. Small businesses must collect the employee tax and report/remit it to the state.
