The Eastern North Carolina Nurse Honor Guard is privileged to serve the family of deceased nurses at the time of their death by standing guard at the funeral and/or memorial service. The Nightengale Tribute and Pledge are performed, a poem is read, followed by the Nurses Prayer and a final call and release from duty. We also offer a living tribute for the nurse and his/her family and friends to honor the nurse and celebrate their years of service and dedication to the profession. This is also offered to terminally ill nurses who have limited days left on earth with us.

This past weekend the Eastern North Carolina Nurse Honor Guard had the privilege, along with 445 other Nurses to attend the First National Nurse Honor Guard Coalition Conference in Erlanger KY. What a blessing it is to serve. ??????
