Making top Quality sod even better!
We’re currently vacuum cooling our sod! Temperatures in the triple digits make raising turf difficult but it makes harvesting and delivering sod in consistent near perfect condition extremely challenging. Here at East Coast Sod and Seed we have invested in multiple solutions so we can deliver a product our customers expect. Between a 15,000 sq. ft. covered staging area, 12 pallet vacuum cooler with integrated rail carts, 11 harvesters, 14 truck fleet (including 2 refrigerated trailers) we can harvest turf at temperatures exceeding 100° and have it under 50° and ready to deliver in no time.
