The East Troy Railroad Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational corporation with a mission to preserve the rail heritage of Wisconsin and America. We own, maintain and operate historic electric trolley and interurban railroad cars on track completed by The Milwaukee Electric Railway & Light Company (TMER&L) in 1907. Our rail line between Mukwonago and East Troy is the last remnant of The Milwaukee Electric Railway & Light (TMER&L) interurban rail system, which once operated over 200 miles of track in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Join us Saturday, July 13th, for Chicago Day! Celebrate the 100th birthday of our three Chicago Elevated Cars and visit with National Park Rangers telling the story of the South Shore line. Ride trains to the Elegant Farmer and Mukwonago then back to East Troy. Trains depart on the hour starting at 10am.

Last week was Railfan Day at the railroad. We had a behind-the-scenes tour, speeder rides, G-scale railroads (including an amazing set of Thomas & Friends engines), an HO-scale North Shore Line and the debut of our new trolley cab for the kids. We're open every weekend for visits to the museum and train rides!

Dads ride free on Father's Day -- with the purchase of additional tickets. So bring your dad (or dad, bring your family) and get a free ticket to ride our trains THIS SUNDAY at the East Troy Railroad Museum. Three trains depart East Troy on Sunday -- at 10am, noon and 2pm. You can also get on the train at the Elegant Farmer at 11am and 1pm for a round-trip ride. Pick up your tickets when you get to East Troy.
